Pay half up front, pay the other half - once project is complete:
Paying for half of the project up front ensures no one gets "screwed". It shows the client is serious about paying for a website. It also forces me to do quality work because if the client doesn't like my work - then I don't receive the remaining payment.

I don't like to make things complicated:
The Web Design Industry is filled with complicated "big-talk" called "jargon", and I strive to avoid confusing my clients' minds. The Web is already "technical enough", some would say "too technical" - all I want to do is keep things running smoothly, keep things simple and show my clients that having a website isn't as difficult as many people make it seem.
I receive payment in the form of:
personal checks, money orders or cash. I do NOT use Pay Pal for receiving payments. I do NOT accept credit cards either. My aim is to keep things as simple as possible.
